Refractory Pumps, Mixers and Tundish Systems for the Steel Industry

Poly-Matrix has been a supplier of Tundish Spray Systems to the U.S Steel Industry for many years. These systems are a combination of continuous mixers and rotor/stator pumps designed to allow for manual or automatic spraying of blended refractory material.
Continuous Mixers are designed to mix the pre-blended dry materials with water in order to provide a constant flow of materials to a refractory pump. This allows the application of refractory materials without the interruption of having to stop and start each time a new batch of material needs to be mixed. Another advantage is that only the actual amount of material needed is mixed while the remainder is stored intact for future operations
