Artistic Fabrication and Welding
|
Poly-Matrix offers superior craftsmanship on all of its projects. By working with the industries' top architects, designers, engineers and exhibit art firms we are able to provide the best possible product and truly unique metal art work.
We work with all alloys currently on the market. Due to the durability and structural integrity of various grades of stainless steel we choose the appropriate alloy in a vast majority of our artistic designs. Stainless is known for it's ability to hold-up under great weather variations and provides a very bright shine once polished properly. Stainless is also good in high traffic areas where there will be an increased human touch rate.
Depending on the project we can work with most material specs.

| The city of Evansville, Indiana decided to build a walking path around various parts of the city. To show case this new walkway they wanted an exhibit like no other. After teaming with Rhodes Work Ltd from Illinois and Murphy-Catton from Northern Kentucky they designed a one of a kind look for the city. The project was like no other every done before. It was to be made out of high grade stainless steel in it's entirety. PMI was chosen as the lead fabricator for this project. After overcoming various fabrication obstacles the result is truly stunning. There are six panels in a circular pattern each depicting various modes of transportation. Each panel is twelve feet wide by twenty seven feet tall. The pictures depicted look drawn but are actually made of differing sizes of stainless steel mesh. A one of a kind exhibit.
