Incorporated in Florida in 1986, Poly-Matrix has concentrated on Specialized Material Handling Systems for the Steel and Construction Industries. Applications have ranged fromTundish Spray Systems in Steel Mills to Glass Fiber Reinforced Cement (GFRC) Spray Systems for Construction elements. While incorporating proprietary components into those systems, manufactured by Putzmeister and other major manufacturers, and designing the overall layout, the fabrication of the main frames supporting the specialized equipment was sub-contracted out. A major subcontractor was Roush Welding & Fabricating and in 2007, following the relocation of its operations to Blanchester, Ohio, Poly-Matrix and Roush merged their businesses.
In July 2008 the combined operations moved into a new plant on a 3 acre site at 700 Cherry Street in Blanchester, OH and will continue to expand its operations under the original Poly-Matrix corporate identity. In addition to the fabrication and assembly of new Systems, we overhaul Tundish and GFRC equipment to extend the life of the systems and lower operating costs for both established and new customers.
